Samsung SBH600 Haedphones

WMExperts had the chance to try the new Samsung Bluetooth Headphones coded SBH600.

I must admit the shape is fantastic and they are not huge as some Motorola headphones I own.

Tim from WMExperts enjoyed using them.
His conclusion:
"If you’re looking for an amazing pair of headphones that give you the flexibility to use a wired or Bluetooth connection, look no further. Samsung’s SBH600 is premium in every facet, and is well worth the $99.95 that they will cost you"

Moto Cliq Review

A few days ago SlashGear published a review of Motorola CLIQ the new Android based Smartphone.

It measures 2.28 x 4.49 x 0.62 inches 5.6oz it’s shorter but broader than the T-Mobile G1,

3.1-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and 3.5mm headphones jack

- triband WCDMA 900/1700/2100 and quadband GSM

- WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GPS and AGPS.

-it runs Android 1.5 and offers a 5-megapixel autofocus camera

SlashGear conclusion:

"The CLIQ itself is less dramatic as a device. Build quality is on par if not slightly better than rival devices and functionally it’s reasonable, but there could be a little more excitement or allure in the physical hardware"

Glympse- Show me the map

Glympse is a freeware that allows certain contacts you select to track your location.

It's a great way to send information about your location at predefined intervals from 5 mins to 4 hours.

The receiver gets an e-mail with a link to a Google Map which shows your current location.

This is a nice way to follow someone without bothering to call them all the time.

The application is available for Android, iPhone and Windows Mobile

Google Mobile updated for Windows Mobile.

Last week I have tried the new application from Google.

It features some improved features such as:
  • My Location recognizes your location automatically
  • Search options are now suggested as you type
  • If you have Google Maps on your phone, it'll launch the application whenever you chose a link.
However in testing the aplication I found some quirks:
-the application tends to look for links more than locations
-when I chose a link it opened it in Mobile IE which is not the best option. This happens because IE is the default browser as opposed to Opera Mobile

You can download it for free here.

  • Automatically switch to the last connected ‘new’ device (optional)
  • Basic compatibility for Bluetooth (optional, disabled by default)
  • Adjust security policies on the currently selected device (EnableRAPI / AppUnlock style)
